Basso is a family-run Italian kitchen in Cresco, Pennsylvania, offering an authentic family atmosphere and carefully prepared menu options inspired by several regions of Italy. Opened in 2010, the establishment is a true family endeavor under the supervision of Bill Jr., Kim, and his mother Fabiana, with the family name itself representing the grandchildren in the Pipolo family. The restaurant’s building was meticulously restored from its former life as Harrison’s Bar to transport guests to a mountain village in Italy while maintaining its structural integrity.

Patrons can enjoy a diverse menu featuring handmade specialties such as eggplant rollatini, charbroiled strip steaks, fresh seafood dishes, pasta specialties, and personal pizzas, complemented by homemade desserts like Fabiana’s famous tiramisu and New York cheesecake.
